Yoga – A Discipline
Yoga can be perceived as philosophy, art, and science. The practice of yoga requires a healthy body, a good heart, and a broad mind. The yoga postures and asanas synchronizing with breathing connect the body and the mind. More than often, the mind and body are in constant war, as the body may be performing various postures, the restless mind may not necessarily harmonize with the body reflexes. Tuning the mind to understand every reflex and movement with every inhale and exhale brings in the calmness of mind.

The biggest challenge faced by the current generation is the health issues related to fast-paced mechanical life. The health problems faced by them is lifestyle problem driven by stress and mental attitude.
Since ancient days, Yoga has been practiced to evolve a person physically, mentally, and spiritually. The evolvement as a person comes from the continuous practice of the asanas along with the breathing techniques. The asanas help in making the body flexible and strong.
To introspect, Do you wake up in the morning, where the body is pushing you back to sleep, however, the mind wants to wake up and get going to the alarm buzzer. More than often our mind and body are not in harmony, in what we want to do and what we are actually doing. In the earlier generation, the sleeping and waking up process was very natural and was not driven by buzzers and clocks. There was a routine or discipline in the activities and tasks done for the day. People had a way to recharge themselves with some form of recreation, despite the busy schedule.
Yoga as a Way of Life makes it inclusive to the wellness of mind and body. The term Way of Life determines the way we carry on our day-to-day routine with a calm and composed mind.
